Webasto bearings

Does anyone have a generic part number for the bearings in a DBW2010. I am going to replace mine for kicks and giggles. I dont want to buy them through Webasto obviously for the price they want.

60 bucks for the kit is not all that bad to me by the time you drive all over town and ordering bearing that may work or may not you will spend 60 bucks in a hurry

The funny thing is Webasto suggested getting them elsewhere for about $10.

You could mic the bearings you have then use the chart to find the replacement.

The bearing are metric if that means much lol me I wouldn't take the chance the Webasto make so much noise to start with you install the wrong bearings they are loud

They told me to just go to a "local" skate shop and get them. Everyone must live within population it seems.

I remember seeing someone post that they could use the bearings from an in-line skate board for something in a bus. Is this the something? I've never checked it out.

They are identical to skateboard or roller-skate (the regular kind, I don't know about in-line) bearings, 8x22x7 (bore, diameter, thickness, in mm), ABEC-3 or better. I just pulled my spares out of my kit to verify. Should cost at most $4-$5 per bearing in ABEC-3. I would get ones with metal dust covers; many skate bearings have plastic ones.

Last kit I bought from SureMarine had 12 parts per kit cost me 60 bucks probably 100 bucks now lol but I am stickler about genuine factory parts

I just replaced fan clutch on the Envoy NAPA quoted me 256 bucks for a after market, GMC charged me little over 300 I bought the GMC the original factory clutch lasted for 6 years so I figured what the heck for 44 dollars

probably same as the sealed roller skate bearings in that case.. would be many in garage sales also...

the bearing supply place i use most of the time can cross reference the numbers on the bearing when i call them. even the small ones for little elect motors...

No numbers on my spares, other than ABEC-3 (a grade, not a size). Often the case with small bearings like this. I measured mine before I posted.
