For those of you that remember Peabody from this site

They have an RV and were planning on getting a bus when her husband died.  She posted this on Facebook today and I'm sure she would appreciate your prayers.

"A week ago today the rental house my daughter lived in with her two boys and two dogs caught fire the boys and my daughter are fine however the dearly loved pets didn't get out. I noticed the smoke pouring out the roof when my computer went dead and I happened to look up.The house is unlivable and we are temporarily living in a cabin at a camp nearby us.I can no longer live in my rv as it got it's power from the house.We are looking for another place to call home,so if you don't see me around that's why.Our church,the congregation and others have been extremely helpful.I will never be able to thank the people of our little church enough their generosity has been humbling."

She is in Lakebay, Washington.  She is the only one that lives in the RV. Her daughter and her kids are looking for a house.

I just heard back from her. She is putting her RV into storage for now. She said thank you so much for the offer and for the prayers.  I offer my thanks to you that have responded here.

I know this will make some people angry but I really don't care.  I am so disappointed in this board right now.  Only 2 people have bothered to make a comment wishing Peabody well.  So many of you knew her when she was active here and yet only 2 people cared enough to make a comment.  It shouldn't even matter if you knew her or not, she is a human being and has a need for prayer and respect and you guys can't be bothered.  Even the moderators of this board don't care enough and I know that each of you know who she is and not one of you commented.

I do not know that person at all, but i imagine that several people have prayed for her everyday since your original post.

I'm glad that none of the people were injured in the fire. It sounds like that family has had enough troubles for a while.

I generally don't reply to these types of threads unless I really know the person personally.  I am on so many different forums that if I replied to every request for prayers and such I would need a canned response to keep up with them all.

This is not to say I don't keep folks like Peabody in my thoughts and prayers.  I just don't take the time to post.
