Indiana is the center of the RV world or something -- bus-Mecca.  A ton of the major outlets are up there.  By dumb luck, I bought Bob's bus from Indiana.  I just ordered four seats and four tanks from Indiana, on their way by freight.  I need a new shower and surround -- guess where?  Indiana.  I'm familiar with RVSurplus, but of course I'm nowhere near enough to profit from the sale.  (Come on, Bob, five hours isn't that far!)  Are they just dumping merchandise or is this a genuine liquidation?

Cheers, John

I called RV Surplus a little bit ago to find out when they would reopen for retail sales.  I was told they moved a ton of stuff to their location, but they still have a lot at the old location.  The auction is at the old location to get rid of what is left.  I've been there three times and they had a lot of old dusty stuff in the back areas of their store/warehouse.

I took a look at the auction website and if the photos truly represent the merchandise available there might be some good deals.  I'm surprised the stuff in the photos wouldn't have been moved to the new location.

Me to Tikvah, I would have been there its only 8hr drive, I would have brought the enclosed trailer to haul all the loot home. LOL  Jason

Unless you are in the RV business most of this stuff will be auctioned off in lots so unless you want a whole rack of little items it could not be a cheap deal. Plus there is 7% sales tax and 10% buyers premium. Years ago when I did the auction scene no sales tax or buyers premium the seller paid that. Then the states decided they were loosing tax money so they got involved. Go to a car auction today and pay $100,000.00 for a car and pay an extra 20% buyers premium. Now I see where the US government wants to charge a sales tax on your house when you sell it. Auctions are just not fun anymore except to watch in awe as people over pay for items.
