Anyone traveling from Indiana to California Oregon or Nevada that could transport a weimenereiner rescue dog? It is not healthy enough to travel on a plane but would do well in a bus. The dog would also have a caretaker with it... Please let me know.  Thanks.  Tom

No takers? She would help out with some of the fuel.  The dog is on I'v fluids so a plane would not work. This dog was starved just an inch from death and also has to use an inhaler due to phnoumia along with having to have its large intestine removed because it ate some bulbs.

Bump
(I live in PA, but if I didn't at least TRY to help, my wife would bring our unused doghouse inside and make me sleep in it!)

Excellent to hear.  :)

That sounds like a trip my wife and I'd like to take. Dog rescue road trip..
We can't have a one yet. Neither of us have the time. But the dream is to retire and cross country with at least one dog.

Dog rescue road trips are a lot of fun. I guess I am a voice of experience on this subject. You just got to
remember, when you stop to walk your dog, telling
them to hurry up when its cold doesnt work. My
wife and I run a dog rescue and we log about 20k
miles a year between a car and 2 buses. One bus
the husky camp bus has crates instead of seats for
the k-9 passengers. Our 4104 has space for 2 k-9's. Our Subaru Outback can carry 4 huskies.
