Just came back from Raleigh,NC and we need storage help

Well we spent this last weekend up in Raleigh,NC at a job interview for Jan. WE LOVE IT THERE. After living in southwest Florida for so long what a refreshing change the Raleigh area offers.

Just one thing: we rode all around for four days and never once saw an area to store our bus or for that matter a RV resort (inexpensive) that we might bring the bus to and live in until an apartment that we want becomes available. Does anyone have any ideas about what we can do.

Doesn't have to be Raleigh directly, there are several real close towns that would work. We were just limited with time that's why I'm asking for help.

Matter of fact I am thinking about adding such a service (referral to RV storage and RV resorts) to the Help Assist List pages, I think it would be cool, but I would need a lot of help from those in their cities as to what to put in for listings.

Did you try RV Park Reviews?  Doesn't look like much available in the area that is decent....maybe the one in Clayton?  Most places will have a monthly or long term rate if you ask.

Raleigh is a Great City especially if you are coming up out of FL.  We moved to Wilmington, NC from Orlando.  We visit Raleigh quite often.

Taxes in NC will take a bit of getting used to though. It ain't pretty come tax time.

Turns out there is one more candidate that has to interview next Monday (23rd.) The boards decision will come quickly because the person has to report in May to get ready for next semester.

If I can find a place to park the bus and stay in it Jan will stay in the bus while I finish up down here, then I will come up. By then an apartment should be ready and we can move there.

Jack I would certainly be happy to meet with you and Paula for dinner. We look forward to that.
