Good point Gus of not mixing alternator outputs...

I do tie the house & start batt's together with an A/C 200A solenoid, pulls in when run signal(24V) is present.

I would like to loose one battery, but in the spirit of keeping it simple, me thinks I should install a dedicated genset battery.

This WM battery gave me six years of service.

Yeah, I finally installed a separate genset batt in my 4104 just in case I would need it some day but my 4107 has a completely separate setup so I have it hooked into the two battery banks.

i only have two Gp 29 house batts, all I need for my modest elect system, no inverters and such.

Another thing, I flat can't lift 8D batts anymore so I have no choice but to use smaller ones. The Gp 29s are heavy enough!
