Here's the line-up for the Southeast Bus Nuts' annual April rally, in Cleveland, SC  This is the most fun you can have for only $35 in rally fees!  All bus nuts and 'wannabees' are welcome. Hosts are Ed and Ann Gallant, of nearby Bostic, NC. This is a beautiful rally park in the SC foothills. Very scenic and peaceful, with lots of nearby attractions. Last year we had a record 55 coaches.

Rally Schedule

Wednesday, the 18th (Early Birds!)
Gather at Mike and Carol Heron's white MCI for a free meatball sub and dessert at 6:00 p.m. Bring your favorite
beverage and a folding chair.
Thursday:
Free day for sightseeing and relaxing, visiting with old friends and new. At 7:00 p.m. come to the main clubhouse
for free popcorn and a movie. Watch and laugh at the hilarious film "RV" with Robin Williams, Jeff
Daniels and Cheryl Hines. It made its premiere in 2006, but this comedy is still relevant for any Bus Nut!
Friday:
Enjoy a full cooked breakfast at the clubhouse! Eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, juice and coffee or tea.
The rest of the day is open for more visiting and sightseeing. Dinner is delicious pulled pork, baked beans and
salad. Those with last names A though M should plan to furnish dessert this night.
After dinner we will have our third annual TV-style Game show, with Mike Heron once again serving as emcee.
The Price is Right was a big hit at the Valentine's Rally, so we are reprising it here. Contact Mike if
you'd like to become a contestant. Or just watch from the audience and try to guess prices . Fabulous prizes
and lots of laughs!
Saturday:
Once again Howard and Ellen Best and the hosts and co-hosts will prepare a delicious pancake and sausage
breakfast, with fresh fruit, juice and coffee or tea.
A brief general meeting of SEBN members and guests will convene at 10:00 a.m. with SEBN President Charlie
Bukoski presiding. There's also a morning flea market—put stuff to sell in front of your coach.
At 2:00 p.m. there will be a tire kicking and tech talk session under the portico. Bring your favorite road fix
story!
Dinner will be half a small roasted chicken with spaghetti on the side, including salad. Attendees with last
names N through Z should plan to furnish dessert this night.
After dinner plan to enjoy an evening of music, dancing (if anyone can get up and move!), and karaoke with
DeeJay Rodney of Shelby NC.
Door prizes will be drawn during the evening!
Sunday:
Breakfast– don't plan to hit the road without coffee and doughnuts, available at the main clubhouse!

Interesting to see that the ratio of Busnuts registering for April in the Carolinas is about 50-50 for those using PayPal versus those popping a check in the mail!

Thanks John and Lidia. We will miss you.
I must say that the photos and tales you shared about rehabbing your bus were very inspiring, especially when we hear how few resources are easily available to you locally.
     Keep up the good work!

Looking forward to it, Mike... hoping for cooler weather!

Mike, is there an attendance estimate for the rally yet?  Just curious.

We pulled in to Palmetto Cove last Wednesday. Nights have been in 50s and days in 70s for the most part.  Creek was a little low until Thursdays rain.  This is such a beautiful park.  Looking forward to seeing everyone.  Jack

Attendance is pushing 30 coaches, counting Uncle Ned who wrote to say the he and Wilma would try to come. I asked him to bring an old scooter or motorcycle - he has a passel of them in storage!

With about a week to go, we have 36 coaches registered for this South Carolina rally. And 8 are coming up out of Florida, despite the high price of fuel.
     Full report after the event!

We're only going for the meatballs, Mike....

Hope to get over for the day on Friday. I don't know if I will drive the bus, or ride the bike. Any charge if I just park and don't plug in for a few hours??

Mike in GA

No charge to visit, as far as the Southeast Bus Nuts are concerned, and I imagine the Park won't have a problem either if you don't plug in.
     Looking forward to seeing you.

Wow good to see the rules change from rally to rally other than my request WAS a little different but had I known I could just drop in at the rally down south I might have done so! Heck it would have been cheaper too now that I think about it!
No hook up! No problem! Use the inverter! That's why it's there right?
Ok so from now on nobody has to register to attend? Just show up and stay for the day! Cool!
Eric, nothing against you with this reply so enjoy your trip and stay! :)

Hey Ace,
I think you're onto something. Hold a rally somewhere. Don't hook up. Everybody go to Wally World for the night & show up again tomorrow. Augh heck let's just do it at Wally World. There's always some late night entertainment going on...
