Eagle 19952 that might be the funniest post I have ever read on this blog.

(note to self... don't check this blog while eating BBQ chicken at your computer)

Just a random thought here...Does anybody know how to get BBQ sauce out of the keys of a macbook pro?

Fuel prices have sure knocked the high end RV prices down also,I stopped at a auction on the way down it was terrible to see the 42 to 45 ft high end MH's that were repo's like a 2010 Foretravel with slides sell for 110,000 prices were so cheap they pulled 3 Prevost's from the sale and I was high bidder on one if that tells you anything lol

I wasn't even looking for a bus but if you can get one cheap enough why not I can always park it and watch TV

The wife and I were thinking about trying an experiment to possibly begin the conversation of selling our bus by using a pop-up camper (Is that someone barfing in the background I hear as they read that!) and renting an SUV to keep the miles off our cars and when we did the math it was $1350 to Colorado and back in the bus towing our car and it was $1600 to rent an SUV and a popup camper to see if we like camping more like camping and less like a rolling cabin.

Where can you rent an SUV that actually has a usable hitch?  Car rental places typically get their SUVs without hitches.  If they come standard with a hitch like the Excursion did they put a locking pin in so you can't use the hitch.  It has been a while since I checked into this.

Clifford, I have one you can sit and watch tv in. Lol
My wife and I travel a lot from Alaska to Idaho and with fuel at todays prices, it would cost us 6,000 to take the bus. We have thought about getting a fifth wheel and pulling it with my Diesel Dodge. We figured it would cost 3,000 to travel that way. It is looking more and more like the fifth wheel is the way to go for us.
