Has anyone installed a APU w/ac onto a MCI8 for "dash air"...to cool the driver's area?

info? pics?, etc.

Why would you want to run an additional engine when you can just belt drive the A/C compressor off the big engine?  Granted it is a 40ft freon run, but it does work.  You should foam wrap the return line so not to loose the cool when the freon is returning to the rear.

I don't have dash air (adding a compressor to my engine wasn't possible).  I have three roof airs and just run the generator when going down the road.  Good Luck, TomC
