Okay, Anyone know this coach ? The owner says 49k original miles. Also I don't think he knows the year. First said 79 or 80, then said 72
you guys know by looking at body ? What frame or rust issues do these have?
Anyone in the Wesport Ma area ?  Listed all over Craigslist on the eastern seaboard just no pictures.
Waiting on parts for my streetrod got bored .
Thanks ED

It has the tail lights of a Prevost Champion  1967-1982 fwiw probably a cap over the hump like a MCI 8 on the front and the baggage doors don't look like the Mirage, run the FMCA number looks like 419950 to me that is a late issue number it may tell you the year

good luck

I like the paint ... :)

I do too. It would have been an expensive job when it was done, and looks like it has lasted well. It's the polar opposite of what I would choose for my bus, but it still appeals to me in a retro-eighties kind of way (too much time spent reading airbrushing books when I was a teenager)

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.

Hello I am a newbie to this site but not to the rv world. This looks like one that I am looking at but one pictured above is much nicer. The guy says his is a 77, Iwas wondering if that was too old a year to be looking at.

Are there any issues with this model year? The unit is under 10k, the guy says it runs ok and that all the facilities are working. The unit in my mind looks like it needs some work, but I am not afraid of redoing it since my wife and I have remodeled to rv's to date.

This would be my first attempt at a real bus and since it has been converted, not sure the exact state of the interior other than the kitchen and bath are in.

Any advice would be appreciated

I will post a few pics

Thanks RUNDLC

I think you can see in my avatar that my 79 has two pair of round headlights, not rectangular.  The rear tail lights are
the same. Different front end treatment from mine, fog lights same location, and side windows are not curved.

On the older Prevo's (like mine) the last two numbers in the serial # is the year of the coach. The headlights can be easily changed to rectangular, as I did on mine. I will go with Boomer on it being a Prestige. When buying a Prevost check for a soft floor above the drivers an physically check the metal above and around the drivers. Ok thanks guys I will check.

Based on the second set of pics does this look to rough a project to start with?
I know these rigs can cost a serious amount of cash to to fix.
