alternator update 47 Clipper

can anybody suggest a suitable alternator for this clipper. generator is going to need freshening so its time to update it. thanks

depends on what engine you have, but if it has a generator maybe still the Buick? you'll need to change some wiring to go to an alternator, eliminating the regulator - look for an internally regulated one, and depending on what electrical stuff onboard, about 100amps would be good, NAPA #90-01-3171 [Wilson/Delco] works for me

i would think the 1 wire gm would work great.
