How far is Quartsize from las vegas

Dumb question to those in area. I don't even know what state Q is in for sure. Have flights from local airport for $84 to vegas. Thinking... Bob

Bob, we are just outside Vegas, 200mi to the Q. Weather is terrifical the roads are splendid! c'mon out!

Bob, something to consider, there is only one motel in Quartzsite. There used to be a couple, but I think only the Super-8 is still in business. We paid a "special rate" a couple of years ago and it was $116. Nothing all that close for alternatives.

Jim makes a good point but I'm guessing if Bob asked nice someone would find him a couch & feed him occasionally. I left my bride in Q one winter and flew home out of Vegas. I remember it as a 4 hour trip but I also remember thinking that Phoenix would have worked just as well.

Our travlin friends are moving over there the 19th to the 28th. So could probably have a place to stay. 3 couples..If we don't make it just might send them around to ck ya'll out. Rite now just one seat on plane but will ck back Monday. Just a last minute thought! Bob

Phoenix is closer than Vegas only 100 miles to Quartzsite from there,20 miles from Q to Blythe Ca 28 miles to Parker AZ plenty of rooms at the BlueWater Casino and motels in Parker and plenty of motels in Blythe

From Q to the phoenix terminal is 2 hours doing exactly the speed limit. Just did it a few weeks ago.

UPDATE: can fly to phoenix for 376$ round trip for two. good deal. rental car 70$ for 5 days. Less than a tank of fuel. Awaiting reply from friends as to their firm schedule. Would be nice to visit them(they are on a 7 month adventure) that we could not go with them on. Then just have to pull trigger. Have met Rusty ,Songman ,Don and a few others from the other side of the Mississippi;Would be nice to put faces with some of the board members. The Airport mentioned was Sunny something (SunnyDale)? Would have more leverage to get it done with better half (Judy) if the couples are there (3 couples) we are old friends. Of coarse might get there and not want to come home. Any one need a bus brought back east?? Bob

Are you sure about the name Bob SkyHabor is the main airport Saquaro is in the same area name the air line for me and I can tell what terminal .Let me know if you are coming so I don't miss you
