Several members have now indicated a problem with log in or similar situations regarding the board operation.

Are there any other members that are having similar problems of some kind?

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to what these problems may be caused by?

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride

Richard,

I never have had a problem using anything on this board. Just making some dumb finger stabs.

I have to think that some computers are having problems because of the way they are set up, otherwise the problems would affect everyone. I am not a computer whiz by any means, there are so many things to check, diagnose, trace, troubleshoot that I leave that up to my son-in-law whose deals with this stuff every day. He just worked on ours and I still have not experienced any problems. Cookie settings, browser settings and on and on are usually the culprits.
Sometime Norton and all the other virus stuff can have a tremendous affect on how your computer opperates.

Whoever is having problems should write down their complete experience, whether it is a warning or settings and then maybe someone could help that is computer literate.

I don't know if this helps, thought you should know.

Hello busnuts,

Now that the Classified section is mostly up & running, we'll be going through a major upgrade to the BBS Software - if - I can just get a quiet time to do the upgrade!  Here it is, 11:00 CST, and 31 users on the BBS!!  Doesn't anybody sleep anymore??   ;D  :D

Anyways - good to see so many busnuts conversing.

The upgrade should give us some performance improvements.  The process will take a bit of time & could impact our link to chat for a bit.  So I'm trying to make sure I'll be around to put things back together if necessary.  That is really all that is holding the upgrade off for the time being.

Kind Regards, Phil

I switched to IE7 some time back, no problems so far, Except my inept computer skills. (thanks for the help with the pictures)

I can understand the frustration of those whose connection are not working correctly.

Withdrawls would set in quick with me :o

OK I should sign off so you can make a better site for all of us.

Thanks for all your efforts.
