I'm looking for a 3/16" all stainless q rivet with a .470 head. I have been looking all over the internet with no results.All the rivits either have a .375 head or over a .600 head which is just to big.I found the right size head in a 1/4" body,but that would be a lot of extra drilling.I know they still make them,but IBP and Prevost want $1.75 a rivet.I need a thousand rivits,so if anyone has a supplier let me know.I even tried suppliers in Canada with no luck.

did you check with fastenal. They are a national company with local outlets I think.

They have sold me rivets in the past.

I purchased rivits from Prevost in March of 2011 and the price was .65 cent each in a quantity of 100 pieces 3/16 x 1/4 the part number #504746 is on the invoice. Prevost offers rivits in three lengths these are not polished the polished ones are a much more, I'm guessing the $1.75 each is for polished rivits I know IBP offers them polished.

Thanks George,I called Prevost this morning and got the rivets .65 cents.When I called last week,they gave me the single price of $1.35 and never offered the quantity price.I guess it's who you talk to.The price I gave from IBP is right,they want over $3.00 for polished.
