Brake Drum part# Drives NJT Model 20 Eagle

We are having a problem coming up with a part number for the brake drums for the drives for my NJT M20 Eagle.  The number on the casting is in bad shape and the best we could do was not a good number.  I have the tag off the top of the differntial hoping the "assembly" number would help Rockwell to ID the drum no luck.

This is the info of the tag:  Model:  A     3200Z1430
                                       Serial number & @$#"y Plant:   (N)KC89059578  I'm not sure about the first letter, could be an N or X or K.

Ratio 373         Date:22789   1       

We can match by dimensions, but the match doesn't have slots for cooling.

Any help would be appreciated.  Most truck drums don't have cooling slots, would drums without slots be a problem on my coach?

Art, have you tired Jefferson Truck and Bus.  My guess is that they will be able to ID the part and probably have the drum.

Take it to a drum supplier easy match it will be a Webb cost about 100 bucks the Rockwell number won't help much as the NJT has a different drum than a regular 20.

I am looking for the parts number for you I have bought those from Ryder before it may be Monday because we are not at home

Thanks,  We have been on the phone with Webb.  We can match it by the measurements.  But they don't have the vent slots that the originals have.  I'm going to order them in the morning without the vents unless someone says it is a bad idea.

The standard model 20 didn't have vent holes only the transit model, the NJT 20 is a different animal you will find they did things different on those

We have found a few items that were marked "Coach".  The S cams are coming from Rockwell.  We found the S cams on the fronts and tags to be sloppy in the bronze bushings, but the drives appears to be firm.  My brake pads were bolted on and I ended up purchasing new shoes with riveted on pads and had to pay a core charge.  Anyone need shoes?

I hope the brakes will stand me on my nose when finished.
