I found this belt buckle at the gigantic Trader's Village Flea Market (also trailer park) in Dallas-Fort Worth area. I had to have it, so it came home with me.

;D

And so I checked ebay, and there are dozens of different bus belt buckles offered there. Check it out.

"Now that I think about it", I'm not surprised in the least that these buckles are out there but I had no idea.  Thanks for posting!  Has anyone seen one with the British Daimler logo for sale?   (no, I thought not   ;D  )

Here is the buckle I wear.  I found this quite a few years ago on Ebay.  Jack

Hi yo silver

Yep, who could resist. I have found a silversides, an MC9, and a British double decker, but none as pretty as Jacks. You know what a showoff he is. :)

Good Luck finding a 4106 buckle - I've been searching over 20 years for one!

Look at EBay item #250916087736. There is an RTS on that buckle. My conversion is an RTS.

I grabbed a picture of the buckle from the EBay auction and am posting it here for posterity.

I have seen several that were the old Silversides, but not a 4106. One company will put a picture on a beltbuckle, but it wouldn't be the same as the molded buckles.

It's the best bus ever made, surely someone made a few?  :)

Evidently there's latent demand for bus belt buckles...seems like an ideal niche business opportunity for someone in the bus nut community. The buckles themselves could be cast in a low-melt hobby alloy (meltable with a blowlamp), so all you'd need would be an original design carved out of wood - or, if that's not going to happen, perhaps use a bus badge or some other recognisable part as the master.

Then sell them on Ebay, BCM advert, bus rallies etc. And send me a small commission on each one.

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.
