I may have started it, but you'll have to finish it!

Mike,
You may want to checlk with Pete Snidal over on the Yahoo groups Flx board.

I seem to recal he and another fella bought out a warehouse full of new old stock Flx parts.

First are we talking

VL 100
Hi level
or Flxliner

What I think we have here is no Flx at all but a Custom Coach unit built on a purchased chassis.

Custom Coach made almost two dozen of these things using purchased Chassis and Flxible front and rear clips.

Other than the front and rear clip they have no commonality with a Flxible

there has been one listed for a few years now on one of the used bus sites.......forget which one....has buses over 35k and buses under 35 k

Here's some GREAT air bag data - can you read any of the numbers on the bag

try --> http://www.daytonparts.com/_pdf/Goodyear_Bus_Airspring_Applications.pdf

you may be able to match via all the info on this site

Double-check again with your friend.

Flxible used the Torsilastic suspension on their highway models, starting with the VL-100 right thru to the end of production with the Flxliner.  If it's a genuine Flx, it will have those.

If it's an air suspension, then it's one of those Custom Coach hybrids Tekebird mentioned.

Or a Flx transit bus, not a highway model.
