OK Everyone,We need some input!

We've been asked by a number of people if and when we are going to have another Rally!

We would like some idea if anyone is interested and if so, how many.

Tenatively, we've picked May again, but that is negotioble at this time. Part of the time constraint is that the Darlington Nascar race comes in that time frame and the campground is loaded, (usually), also Mothers Day.

We would still like to keep it simple, but would also like to have ideas on what participants would like to have.

We can't promise that we will be able to please everyone, but we will do our best.

So, please, take a litle time to answer the poll and and add comments below.

Thanks,

Hi Cat,
I'm not exactly sure what I just voted for, but IMHO the previous dates were (weekend after Mothers Day) were perfect!  For me.   We are booked for the prior weekends, but, I understand that the world doesn't revolve around my needs....actually I don't understand...but I'll deal with it.   ;)
Food has always been  perfect too!  I vote for Gene to come'n down and do it again!   I have inside info that Gene has his bus back.   ::)
Place me on the list now!
Seminars are cool if you have a large enough crowd to attract vendors or someone interested in conducting seminars.
Hope ya'll have a wonderful Christmas!  JR

OK OK OK I fixededed it!
Sorry about that!

But at least JR with his new peepers could read it!

Dallas, after looking at the results I see nobody has voted on your excursions! Could it be they know about your car and how safe it isn't or could it be the driving of the driver?

Either way, that last excursion cost me my favorite pair of fruit of the looms!

T'ville is right off I-95, 12 miles South of Florence, SC.   Campground based item with full hookups.  All flat and relatively weatherproof.

Wow JR only 12 miles from Florence? It seemed a LOT closer than that when Dallas drove us there but then again, he was driving and all I can remember was Gary in the back seat studdering something like "oh God I need to call Linda and have her upgrade my life insurance" or it might not have been studdering. It could have been the shake of the car from the loose wheels!   ;D

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride

But Ace!

It was really cool hearing all of those choruses of, "Hail, Mary, Full of Grace"

And watching that guy in the front passenger seat leap out and kiss the ground! It was Priceless!

Topping it all off was that everyone except one rode back with me! (I wonder who that One was????)

Hi Dallas.

Pat and I would like to think about attending, but it is clear across the country from us and we already are making two trips in that direction this/next year (currently in Arcadia).

FMCA has an area rally in Memphis on May 3-6 and we will be vendors there.  That would put us half way to your location.  If the timing works out, we might be able to justify the trip.'

As of right now, I won't vote, since we are not sure if we could make it.

I looked at the voting results and it sure looks like there is something wrong with the percentages.

I liked the loose plan of the last one.
Nancy liked the excursions as she can only take so much busnut talk in a day.  :o
The food was great, having the main part covered & others can bring sides if they want worked well.
Gene is the man to have around when a pig dies  ;D

Y'all pick a date & I'll try to be there!

Hey Guys!

Ya know, the ladies at the last two sure seemed to enjoy the excursion to the local flea markets.

We kind of kicked around the idea of, instead of taking 2 or three cars, we would have the local RTA stop by with one of the Chance Trollies, (Trolley buses made to look like 19th century trolley cars kind of like the San Fransisco type), to pick up whoever wants to go and return when needed. Kind of a nostalgic twist!
