I have located a 6v92TA in a cradle with the trans and the radiator that was removed out of a bus that is being scrapped.

It is for sale but I have not had the opportunity to ask the guy what it is worth and what he wants. He may ask me.

What is this worth?

I am also removing all 10 smoked side windows for a  Prevost XL  that is also being scrapped anybody need side windows?

RH or LH? What was it taken out of? RH will bring more than a LH.

George none of them are patio windows they are all full length.

Barn Owl as you are looking at it from the  rear the drive is to the right and or the pass. side.

I know he is going to ask me what it is worth and I really have no clue. This could be a real bargin for someone possibly.

What is it worth??

I'm headed over there today to pull ALL the windows. I'm only going to take 2, I need and 1 for spare and we will put the rest aside.

I'm  getting 2 smoked windows the entire blower motor assembly for the a/c evap and heater core and a bracket off the engine for a dash a/c compressor.  250 bucks. I know just the 24volt dc motor for those blowers is over 1000 new and those smoked side windows for an XL I thought I was once told were 600 bucks each. I took a good look at them the seals are not compromised on any of them they are all in great shape.

Needless to say I'm pretty happy about it.

The side windows are not $600 each. The last time I called Prevost for parts they were having a special on the side windows for $189 each. The windshields and upper windows were not on sale. I would like to find two of the uppers that are really good. Mine are starting to get foggy in the lower corners and I am looking for the dog leg corner piece on the passenger side in front of the rear wheels which has the battery cut off switch in it. Caught mine on a pole and buckeled it.

Steve this is a 77 and none of the body panels are going to apply. I will take a close look at the front cap upper windows and see if they are any better than what you have described and let you know.

Thank you, Joe Camper. Mine is an 89 Prevost so 77 windows may not be better.

The widows will fit any XL or XLV up to 99. I just got back pulled all 10 of them on 1 side.

The 6V 92TA and trans and radaitor and exhaust in the cradle is out of an 83 GMC municiple bus. I have a bunch of photos of it in my phone if anyone wants them.

AS for the 6v92 in the cradle !!!  the market is bad .  i got my spare engine 6v92 ta with ht748 last year for $1200 with paperwork on a low mile rebuild and thought i made a deal :)

now that i am parting out my Neoplan , i found NOT ONE buyer that would come if the scrap metal value ($400) for the engine or transmission.
so even feeling bad about scrapping a great running drivetrain, its the easiest and at least some real cash getting way these times!!!

comparing also that i got my new low miles 95 MCI 102D3 for less then scrap value, this market is really messed up.

my thoughts on this

Thank you for that insite. I will not persue it any further.
