Wow this bus on Craigslist seems almost to good to be true.

The demise of the bus market started when all the NJT buses hit the market before those about any shell was in 20 to 30 thousand range then ABC put 10 year old Eagles and MCI modern buses low mileage on the market the Eagles were selling for around 18,000 and down I know people that paid 12,000 for those and 12,000 or less for MCI.
It is down hill from here on out with all the older factory bus conversions coming on the market also who would have thought one could buy a converted Prevost converted in the 90's for under 50 grand and in the good days one could run to the bank and take out a 2nd or 3rd on their house and pay the asking prices not that way now lol

I think it has more to do with the general economy than any bus dump by NJT.  The NADA value of my Vogue dropped about $30,000 almost overnight, along with the value of my home, the job market and the overall economy.

That bus is near Clifford and he has inspected it already for someone and he says you could get it for $10,000 !  If I had the $ I'd be on my way yo meet the "yoda" and buy a "Preyvo" both # the same time!

Does anyone have a guess at what that prevost has for a tire size? The bus I am in currently is getting a couple new tires, and I am just wondering if they would be the same (11r22.5)

My guess is it will have 12R22.5's or 315/80 R 22.5's but again Clifford is da man ya need to ask.

It has 12r 22.5 tires the bus will drive anywhere with tires mechanically it solid I drove it drives great you can see all the new parts underneath on the suspension the old gent spent some cash,it has a oil leak on the transmission line going to the cooler only leak on it.
It needs TLC and someone with a few skills it could be made a nice bus all the components are there inverter battery chargers,Webasto heat etc
I think the 10k Onan has less than 500 hrs, it can be bought right just make a offer has a fresh strong 8v71 that maybe a problem for some
