Hello time for an update. The Eagle has landed here at my shop.

It's an '84 Model 10 VIN 1EUAN61XEBO31192

The front blows almost cold while the back BLOWS HOT! I haven't done any testing yet as it just got here a few minutes ago and is hot from traveling here.

Clifford I looked and it does have the shaft driven compressor.

Any help anyone can get me as far as schematic etc. will be appreciated!

Thank you Clifford.
That is more than Dee knew about it already. He just knows some group in Atlanta( He thinks it was Atlanta Chorus) donated it to Freed-Hardeman University. (where he & his wife both work & live on campus)

He is hoping I can check it over and tell him that the engine/trans seem to be in reasonable condition and get the A/C in good working order at a low cost. He said they have told him if they can be reasonably sure that it will be semi reliable and the A/C will work then they will start at the front and work their way to the back fixing & repairing all that needs fixed.
So far it doesn't look terrible, it does have some issues but nothing major that I've noticed yet!

Oh yeah it is a 6V92 Turbo with Automatic (I'd guess 740), and he says it's blowing terrible black smoke and no power on the drive up here today!

Hi BK.  If the driver AC has some cooling, it sounds like part of the system is working (probably low on freon, but working).  The main system seems to have two control components:  Gradustat and Modulation valve.  My guess is that one of them is not functioning properly.

The Gradustat is in the return ducting and seems to be an air switch fed by a skinner valve (likely cause?) and it in turn controls the modulator valve (see attached photo).

I have not found a good way to copy the pages yet, but I will keep trying if you need me to.

Has the system been converted from R-500?  Can you connect your gauges?

Hi BK.

Thought I would bump this to the top and tell you that a fellow on the Eagle forum has a gradustat for sale.
