My future sister-in-law works for a salvage and is always looking for wrecked cars and truck for their inventory.  Today she sent some rather disturbing photos of a Prevost XL that came to a sudden stop.
Warning:  Very disturbing photos.  Abilene, TX

Aaron,

The carnage looks terrible! :'(

Did this wreck occur in the Abilene, TX area?  Any update on the driver & passengers?  I pray they somehow escaped with their lives.

Man-man, eating a windshield like that, I doubt seriously if anyone could survive something like that.

scarry! looks like hit low right front from the side . Hope it was unoccupied. almost to low for train. but what ever it was was heavy to take front axle out like that. Have seen two that were in head on that came out better but were not twisted to side like that .

^^ the only thing that I could think of that would do damage like that is a low boy semi trailer and the bus running into it while both  where moving.   Very nasty wreck...

Iceni John

Not only the front axle, but also the drive axle is torn away.   And there is minor rear end damage.   Looking at the exhaust pipes, I wonder if the engine was torn off its mounts as well?   I can't imagine there's anything left of any value to anyone except the scrapper.
