Big OUCH

Well after 10 years of backing my bus through my gate with a tight trun to get in and a steep drive I did it. Yep I hit the gate. Tore the rear awning arm off, bent the trim around the rear wheel wells and scratched and dented the panel above the stainless. Thank goodness I did not hurt the stanless, just put a very big dent in my PRIDE.
Now where do I find the wheel well trim for the rear left side? I have a 1973 MCI 7 and I have already called Luke at US Coach and also Say Taylor and they don't have any.
Dose any one know where and who might have them?
Another bad decision whas my wife said do you need help?, dumb me I said no I have done this many times, was that dumb or what. Now I have to listen to her remind me of my foolishnis, but being a well trained husband I just say YES DEAR.
Any help on parts will be appreciated.

I have always said the hardest part of my trips was getting the bus out and putting it back.
Still waiting for that day, I get out and check don't rely on anyone, actually have to get bus under garage overhang to clear AC unit.

Let's face it guys...we're just 'mere men' and couldn't possibly function wthout the help of our better halves. 

I've been married to mine for a bit over 35 years and while she doesn't offer too many opinions (unless I screw up) that wry smile tells me everything I should have learned years ago.

But isn't it great to live under this great hallucination that we're the 'all knowing and totally dependable' gender?

Sorry to hear about the big ouch   

My military training tells me that I need a "spotter" every time I back up. ----but I remember a trip to McDonalds years ago when I had my Ford Diesel SuperCab F250 and thought I could rely on memory and mirrors.  Yep---I hit a low slung car backing up that I somehow didn't see.  It was rather embarrasing to go inside and ask everyone "who is driving the blue Eagle Vision out there (that now has a broken grille)?"  It was however an important lesson for my two children--Be responsible for your actions.

I only have 26 years of training from my spouse, and am showing signs of improvement!  I know that I can always use help, even if it is only company to keep me working on something that needs done.  I wouldn't be able to complete most jobs without my faithful helper!
