Scrap value would be a good place to start.

Nice looking unit from the single pic. Nice to that seen the interior, info on engine, trans, etc.

I am not a 45'er kinda guy, but an Eagle, that model in that color blue does it for me, but not this time.

As stated, scrap value would be a safe bid without additional info. Being within 300-500 miles would help.

I emailed them and asked for more info. If they reply I will post.

It may be a good deal for some one... I dunno about a bus that sleeps 16 tho.

An entertainer that has been repo'd, especially a sixteen bunk crew bus, may well be pretty ragged out by now.  If they couldn't afford the payments, they probably couldn't afford the maintenance.

Not necessarily a bad deal at the right price, but I would be very careful on this one.

Ive emailed the owner back and fourth a little now.  He has registered with the eagle site now and will soon be asking questions.

I see the ad has been deleted. Did the bus sell?

I was thinking about taking a ride over there and checking it out.

I belive that he is going to do more research on the bus and then relist it.  If you want I have his email address and phone from his reply to me, I can give it to you.

I'm the one with the bus for sale.  I reposted it on craigslist http://athensga.craigslist.org/rvs/2428761636.html to move it closer to the top again.

I found out about this forum from a nice gentleman in Texas that told me this is where he saw the link to my ad.  Thanks for posting it here. I appreciate the increased exposure.

Demodriver, I have an email from someone requesting more information.  I don't know if it is you.  They gave me a link to an Eagle bus forum and that is still awaiting approval.  I do know that it has a Detroit engine and it is a diesel and it is an automatic.  I also know that a company in Florida did the conversion...Southern Classic Custom Conversions out of Clermont, FL.

The man that owned the bus is supposed to meet with me one day next week to retrieve his personal items that he left inside.  I am going to ask him why it has a salvaged title.  I do have more pictures, including pictures of the interior, that I can share.  I don't know if posting pictures is allowed.  I will have to read the rules. :)

luvrbus

Ken, is it a salvaged title or a re builders title looks to me like widened and stretched coach from a older model got a serial number ?

good luck

The title says "*Salvaged-Repaired".  The VIN is 1EUBM8A19RB004039.

I hope that someone here can give me some info about this bus or at least tell me where on the bus to look in order to find it.

Thanks

luvrbus

I'll look it up tonight to be sure but 4039 should be a 40ft 1983 model 10 ok so it has been stretched

good luck

So are you saying that this bus is actually a 1983 model that was stretched and converted in 1994?  Could that be the reason for the salvaged title?

Anyone SERIOUSLY considering this coach please contact me offline  (lensilva (at) lenstudio (dot) com.

I may have some knowledge but I will not post it here.
