How about a build thread section?

demodriver, there are quite a few great project documentations.  They are just hard to find.

Some folks document their project on their own websites and some on blogs.

I occasionally visit a Hummer-H1-replica-built-from-plans forum, where they give people their own 'project threads'. I think it's a really good way of keeping everyone's information in the same place, and it gives less web-savvy people an easy way to start their own project blog. Have a look here:

I figured that more people would like the idea.

On all of the ratrod and hot rod sites that I am a member of we all have build threads to show off our rides and for people to ask questions. 

I am a member on the eagle site but there is very little traffic there. As much traffic as this site gets I figured a build section would go over good. It also helps keep some guys motivated to keep going when he can share his insanity with others who understand

The Eagle board is totally different it is all about Eagles that is were people come for answers about Eagles that is why we have the Eagles board and to announce news items for the club,not a lot bs there but if you need to know how to install slides or a engine upgrades or buy a Eagle that is the place sometimes the answers are slow but you will get answers.
We have members that own MCI,Prevost and other brands there also nothing wrong with this board it covers all buses not many Eagle owners post on either board but do read both.
We do have a good phone network any of our members break down we get parts or help to them in a hurry or they tow it to my house LOL

Well, as usual, Clifford beat me to the punch.

Clifford said very well what I was thinking.  We are specialized site with a lot more than just the forum.  Certainly the forum is a corner stone of the site, and we are very proud of the quality of the material that is available to the members. 

We need to clarify that you do not need to be a member of Eagles International Chapter of FMCA to be a member of the forum.  Anyone can join.  Anyone can read many of the forums.  Some forums are for EI chapter members only, and that is as it should be since the site was commissioned by the chapter and it is supported with chapter dues.

I want to be very clear that the project forum is amazing.  There are some projects that will blow your mind.

Ok, so the "...if you need to know how to install slides" comment from Luvrbus made me search out that Eagle forum for the first time. The project-threads there are done in the same way as those on on the Hummer H1 forum I linked to earlier. I do think it's a good idea, and something this (the BCM) forum should also do. And it would be more interesting here because there are many flavours of bus here, not just one.

we love our little Eagles board Jeremy lot of things we haven't got done yet because of copy writes we want a section were all the repair and parts manuals are located.I would say about 80% of the serial numbers for Eagle are there still need a little work on that section to make it complete
I own most of the factory build sheets on Eagles and Dale if he every settles in one place we were planning on posting those so owners can see how their bus was equipped with what drive train and engine and HP pretty neat huh
We will never be as large as this board on 162 members in the club so 1/2 the members there are not in the club but that is ok we like our little board and it will never have OT section lol  
We also have 1 member that posted here for a while not a Eagle owner but a very sharp guy on gears, brakes and other stuff name is DaveG we are glad to have him a very good contributor to our board,heck even Ace does sometimes lol.
We could have more traffic if we choose not to answer questions about Eagles on other boards but we don't go that route like some
I like the new MCI board the problem there if you don't own a MCI can't belong to it but that is ok I still read what I can there
