Literally...
Pulled into a RV site in a nice resort in Clermont, Fl. on friday. Site was grass and loose dirt. Stayed there many times without incident. Had some bad weather friday night with alot of rain, don't know if it was related to all the rain or not. Went to pull out today, put the rig in drive let off the brake and the rear wheels just spun and sunk. Called Coach-net, they dispatched a tow truck in about an hour. Nicest big rig tow truck I've seen in a while. The driver was very professional and really knew what he was doing, and in about 20 minutes I was un-stuck.  Then I got to sit in bumper to bumper traffic all the way back to Ft, Lauderdale...

Glad to hear you got out of your "stuck". Is Coach-net like a AAA for buses? Is it expensive?

I got our 5Cs stuck a few weeks ago and it just spune. I got those 3X4x3/4 thick rubber mats at Home depot and stuck one under the rears and it walk right up on to them. I put it in forward and out we went . It worked very well.

A busnut is well served to have a set of 2' x 2' squares of 3/4 plywood on which to park.

There are many surfaces that are hard as rock when dry, then it rains, and the wheels sink in just enough that they won't climb out of the divot. Once they spin, you are done. Spin no more, it just gets deeper.

Make throwing down the plywood part of your routine on everything but cement/paving, and you get a running start at the rest.

happy coaching!

Pretty much, my annual fee for Coach-net was about $120.00. Had them for about 5yrs. They really know how to deal with big rigs. Having the right equiptment dispatched makes all the difference. By the way, I was given a copy of the bill, the price was $525.00 all paid by C-N. Last time I needed them the bill was over $1200.00, so I've really got my money's worth...

REVIS, out of Groveland, Fl. They sent a really cool Peterbuilt big rig tow truck, it was absolutly gorgeous and almost as big as my bus. They were top notch...
