Personally-I would pull the engine and take it apart to see what it only needs.  This is called an overhaul.  Replacing everything new on an engine whether it needs it or not is called a rebuild.  Overhauling is always cheaper.  You might only need one new cylinder-for example.  Good Luck, TomC

That place he is buying the engine has a 100,000 mile warranty or did have and that is not a bad price a buddy just had a inframe done at Freightliner in Vegas for over 13 grand and they do crappy work

Well they MISSED the delivery date! Causing me to loose out on 4 gigs. and $$$$$  I was told maybe Monday but being a holiday I have my doubts.
