Hit their head on the up raised corner of your baggage door?  I did today as I was scrubbing out the bay where the remote radiator was, and as I stood up, I caught the corner dead straight.  I am too old to cry and it hurt too much to swear.  I do not think I will do that again, but then again maybe foam corners might be a good idea while working underneath the doors.

It wasnt the door on a bus but the door on my excavator. Its about a 1/4" thick plate. If theres a such thing as being nocked stupid thats what happened to me.

Not fun at all.

Easy answer here! Full-time lightweight bicycle helmet would be easier! ;) ;)

was putting something heavy in a tight spot once, and when I bent down a small jack handle was sticking up. Don't know why I didn't see it cause it hit just between my eye ball and the bone above the eye. I was nauseous! I had to sit for a while and gather myself!

Couple of years ago I was at a gas station with my new to me bus, I was filling right front tire, bent over forever waiting for it to fill......by the time I stood up I had forgotten about the mirror arm above my head......wacked it so hard I fell right  down on my butt, almost passed out, sat there for a bit taking it all in.  Then continued filling the tires....but I haven't forgotten that one.

Done the bay door, done the engine compartment door, and both A/C units inside. Slow learner, I guess. Been there dumb that...Cable

Hit the bay doors a time or two but the mirrors are my enemy. I've walked into the right mirror probably half a dozen times coming around the front!

Hi yo silver

Maybe we should pole the members to see if there is anyone who hasn't knocked their brains out on a door or mirror. I tried to knock off my mirrors several time before I learned they were still in the same place; guess I'm a slow learner. LOL Maybe that could explain a lot...

Hi yo silver

Or here's an idea; When you buy a bus, take one of the mirrors off and have someone beat you over the head with it. then reinstall it...

I think I'm beginning to see why the new buses have the mirror mounts come down from the roof. I think that makes them a bit higher up, so you have to be taller to run into one of them.

Yup, for me the left side mirror is my nemesis.   When I'm working on my bus the sun is setting directly ahead, so I've walked into it (the mirror, not the sun) so many times simply because I'm dazzled and  can't see it.   Considering how long I spent making brand new stainless mounts for all the mirrors, you would think I would remember where they are.
