Something is going on with my right tag just looked tread is totally gone on inside 3/4 of tire

Witch way are you heading? I am about a hour north of indy and have friends with a repair shop another hour north of me just off of I69.

I cant do a whole lot for the bus repairs but will try to help anyway I can.

I just stopped 30 miles south of Indy to check it doesn't look to be getting any worse at this point bearing has plenty of lube. May be a bad bushing. I will check it again once to Indy. Thanks I will keep you posted. By the way I am headed west on 74

I think I am going to be ok .. I going to push it on home to Peoria 200 more miles.. Thanks guys for the offer of help.

sounds like tag housing bushing. Pain in the as-----h   but do able. been there done that on a MCI 8. Have some one follow you and see if your tire is leaning. probably  both. not high dollar but one I could do with out. I split mine by cutting with a long blade on a sawzall 3 places. Then chisel out thirds.Clean up bore and grease fittings holes and your ready to install:  Putting new bushing in freezer over night before installing will make the job easier.  Excess grease is your friend here.

Well made it into Peoria around 9 pm central time. Everything good. I will check the tag axle this week.
