I have to apologize for being cranky in my last post, I received news that I have to start radiation treatments 5 days a week for 5 weeks, and I just didn't handle it very well!  I'll work on my short comings!  There are some new pictures at my site if you are interested!  I guess the question now is whether I get to finish this or not!  But I'm still pluggin away!   Comments are welcome good or bad!  This getting old stuff really sucks at times......Photo's are at the link below!

Looks like two bad day's collided. I made the millionaire comment. At that time the board had the attitude that only the best was acceptable. I take pride in finding the best for the dollar. This is a hobby for me and a challenge to do good work(safe) I am retired also. Personally your medical challenge ahead is far greater than mine:We all wish you the best!  Must use your creation!! might be good therapy!!!  I laid off building  for 2 1/2 months and refreshed in Florida this winter in 89 .= 98 to make trip next year.   Get well soon      Bob

Muddog hope you are feeling well this morning God bless you.

You may want to rethink the shower pan. What you are using is what we have. IMO it does not have quite enough pitch to get everything to drain when not completely level. I am going to do a tile mosaic to ours so I can increase that angle some.

I know that will ever finish feeling!! Bad thing is one day you will look around and realize that you have almost finished it!!! ( My look was after 9 + years)!!! Then after a few weeks of quality family time they will all try to find you a new project!!LOL

Pat,

There is a product called Miso that originates in Japan.  It can be used for soups.  Consuming it greatly reduces the effects of radiation.  I am told that that trait was discovered after Hiroshima when it was noticed that people who had diets with Miso did not suffer as others did.  A friend of ours used it during her radiation treatment and said that she was to only one in her group that did not have serious side effects.

You're doing a terrific job, excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail. That new mirrored front will blind anyone shinning a headlight on it.
Just working on it helps I am sure. Just put your head down and keep going one day at a time and before you know it, just like putting on the last front panel, the bus will be finished.
I hope the radiation goes well. Lin is right about the miso, lots of recommendations for it on the web.

Glad to see you are posting pics again. Your blog is what inspired me to leap into my venture. Everything looks so professional. Radiation Therapy has evolved a long way. The treatments are much more localized, and have great results when the treatment is done early. We all will be pulling for you, and you should be back on top in no time!

Great pictures!  I am amazed at your level of skill and the fact that everything is so neat, orderly, tidy and clean.  This of course, would never cut it in my world, I am a mess most of the time and my shop reflects that.

Your project is outstanding.
