Another NRG happening

Anyone in or planning on being in Florida during Memorial day weekend, the NRG's will be at the Riverside RV Resort in Arcadia, Fl starting on Friday May 27th and staying until Monday before departing for home.
The NRG's are a group of friends that share the same bus conversion/camping interest. We are not ones to lay around and just chit chat. We will always be doing something, whether its fishing, boating, swimming, soaking up the sun, eating (cooking out) or riding our motorcycles. Hence the name NRG, which also means, Non Rally Gathering!
You won't find boring useless time wasting meetings or politics at our gatherings, just fun and relaxation!
Your responsible for your own reservations and your own food! We usually all get together and cookout on the grill for lunches or dinners, maybe hit a local eatery for a cold one or lunch!
Anyway you get the idea...

We usually try and stay on the row starting with number 266 and up. This year 271,272,273 are booked so give them a call and join us or at least tell them you want something close.

Ace,
When I saw NRG in the subject, I thought you were going to raft the New River Gorge in WV. We are hoping to do it this summer. Would like to join ya'll at Arcadia, but I am already scheduled for a whitewater weekend that weekend in Western NC (and it would be quite drive from NC back to Arcadia). LOL I agree that smaller get togethers are much more fun, kinda like our first Bussin' rally. Have a great time. Jack

Jack, sorry you and Paula can't make this one but maybe the next outing will fit your schedule. I agree the RALLIES have gotten to be too political imo. The last one I went to we had beautiful weather and spent almost half of one day in a tent listening to a bunch of bickering which resulted in nothing being solved. It was a waste of time and day light! Even being more than a month since then, I'm still getting emails regarding questions on how to solve the issues at hand. My opinion is, you only have those issues if you have them to begin with. If you have gatherings at your own free will, there will be no issues to bicker over!
It's supposed to be about sharing time with friends and having fun. When you have to listen to big heads bicker over the stupidest things like food and who cooks it, it's time to look at going a different route!

I know it's still early but to update this and bump it to the top, there are now a confirmed 5 coaches attending with plenty of room for more but if you plan on joining us, make reservations now. This is a very active rv park and this will be over the Memorial Day weekend so it WILL be full.

As mentioned, if your in the south near Arcadia, feel free to join us! Call and make your own reservations. There will 8 of us there so far, maybe 10.

That's exactly what we need more of out here, down in the SW Ace. We will be @ the Lake Mead RV Village the beginning of June, any one in the area that would like to join us is more than welcome, the more the merrier. I'll start a separate thread and see if there is interest. Thanks!
