Driving a bus for the first time this week!!! Tips?

Insist that the engine be bone cold when YOU start it for the first time.  Cold Cold.  If it isn't cold when you get there then walk away.

I lost my bus virginity today!  ;D

I read everything including the MCI-9 manual cover to cover and everything went great. Wow, what a drive! Such a blast. Despite the strong engine and transmission, the bus was junk but I'll never forget my first time  :)

Pickpaul - What'd you find so rough about the coach?
Bus polygamist. Always room for another, especially '04 or '06 are welcome. NE from Chicago, across the pond.

I mentioned some stuff on the other thread but water damage from leaky roof in two places, bad rust, poor condition externally and essentially stripped and junked interior.

WOW,  I haven't seen a MCI with a leaky roof. Except maybe around roof hatch.
