Just got back from Death Valley.  The best price here seems to be $3.81, and my wife says to run out and fill up before it jumps another twenty cents.

Here, my US friends, your taxes are paying for it, might as well use it?

I'm so busy at work that I can't get away to spend any diesel money anyways. When I do get a chance the last thing that bothers me is how much it might cost for fuel. When you are self employed you don't get no sick days/pto/ and 3 week vacations/Martin Luther King Days off.... PAID!

Oil is sold on a world wide market no matter where the fuel we put in our vehicle comes from.  It does worry me because I don't have unlimited funds and I take my bus to events that are at fixed locations.  I can't just go to a campground closer to home.

I didn't realize until I looked at that DOE site that it now costs more to refine diesel than to refine gasoline.

Our last fill up in Florida was 3.75. It really affects us as we travel for work,as some of you do. If it keeps going up, there will be a lot for everyone to worry about. Not just our fuel, but the fuel to get products, food, etc to where we get it, and prices are going to get so bad, it will be hard for lots of folks just to survive. I hope and pray it doesnt get that bad, and not to be political here, but, things are not so bright there either.

ruthi, you best get some sort of fuel surcharge worked out, and fast.

Anyone whose income is tied to travel who doesn't include a variable fuel surcharge is asking to be run into the poor house.

Ask any trucker what happened before they wised up...

DEMAND IT, otherwise you are subsidizing the profits of someone else.

Does anyone check here before they stop for fuel. I know When I see a deal pop up I go out of my way to get it. Sometimes it is worth going and getting it in a 55 gal drum from places the bus does not fit into. http://www.gasbuddy.com/

Just hard to do on those long cross country trips. Enjoy WVO as long as you can, because supply and demand will eventually catch up with you, once everyone else decides to do the same. The early adopters will have benefited the most.

Well, I did not run out to buy diesel 2 days ago.  It has jumped 20 cents already.  There was a place selling diesel here for under $3.00, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Any place selling diesel for under $3 a gallon here in Minneapolis would probably have a constant line of vehicles fueling up.  Diesel prices locally are at $3.69 and up.
