Great article Eric.

The Eagle looks quite a but different from when I saw it last spring in Florida. Did you paint it yourself? It turned out great.

Great looking conversion, inside and out.

A friend of mine who owns a paint company in Greenville, SC painted the bus. The name is Ozone Collision. They do mostly large trucks, and buses. I did all the layout work. Brant said the only way he would paint it was if I were part of the crew. Something about me being anal!!LOL I have to say after the job was done that I would pay extra not to help next time. Sanded until I hurt all over, used 3 cases of tape (NOT ROLLS), 6 gal. primer, 4 gal red, 3 gal tan, 1 gal black, 1 gal, gray, 1 gal gold, 8 gal. clear, and 4 million miles of paper!!! They used me for the shop monkey, get this, tape that, etc. Good experience though. Their paint booth is big enough for two buses I think. I used the rest of the summer to finish the interior. Our business is tied to the building and construction industry, so I had lots of free time! I didn't even know it was in the BCM until Tom Hamrick called and said he wanted my autograph. I thought he just wanted me to sign a blank check! Hope your trip home from Florida went better than the last night!! Thank you for the compliment! Feels good after seeing how nice your bus turned out!

That is a lot of tape, and paint. I painted the midsection of my MC8 white, so it was very simple, but still a lot of work for a non-painter like myself. I can really appreciate how much work went into your paint job. Someday I would like to repaint the Prevost but I have not been brave enough yet.

I wish I had thought about making the interior cabinets shallow like you did. It really opens up the interior. Something to keep in mind if I do another conversion.

The trip home from Florida last spring went a lot better than the night before we left. I thought that my Aqua-Hot pickup tube was not as far into the fuel tank as the engine pickup. I will not make that mistake again. Loosing the prime was something I only want to deal with once, actually I never wanted to deal with it. We are headed back down to Flagler Beach again this Spring Break. We are also going to run over to Universal Studios for a few days. The girls are excited about going to the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter".

Hopefully you have been able to take time to enjoy your bus.

Great looking coach Eric. What do you think it would cost a person to get a 35' coach a single color... without having to help them lol?
