WOW that's not good, It is 10:30 PM California time and just came on the News that a guy went off in A Greyhound bus on I-80 by Antelope Road ( which we live off of ) and stabbed a lady a few times. Shes OK but injured pretty good. Driver wouldn't say anything and a lady wanted to know why there was not Cameras on the Bus?

Most major corporations frown on employee's making statements to the media, it is a fire-able offense in the case of a lot of companies.  As for cameras on the bus?  Think of how much the cost would be to Greyhound to equip each bus with a camera, and what a ticket on a bus would cost afterwords.

Someone has to pay for the cameras and you can bet your last dollar it won't be Greyhound.

Perhaps scanners in the terminals ... Xray the poor and the disadvantaged.

The lady that said that was on the bus that this happened on. I thought it was interesting statement that no body really want cameras or that is what they say but when they are involved, all of a sudden they want to know where they are??? I like what one of the guys said on the other boards the driver should be allowed to have a weapon.

I wonder if Greyhound has any specific policy against stabbing passengers.
You don't have to believe everything you think.

From the news, it said this guy supposedly just jump up while they were on Business 80 going east passed Watt Ave and started stabbing this lady across the isle and was then looking like he was heading down the isle toward the driver. By the time they got to Antelope Road area ( About 1 mile east of Watt) the driver had pulled over and a few people had the guy held for the police that got there pretty fast.

Well that's good. Then they can hold a quick trial, convict the guy, slap his little hands, and turn him back in to society all rehabituated!

Lin;

I believe it is 2 per 300 miles unless you have allocated prior permission then it is 1 per 150 miles after meal break above the waist.
