MC-9 Wheels

Hello I am new here first time on any forum still trying to figure out how all this works.... I have a 1979 MC-9 that i am doing a conversion on and am wanting to try and find a set of used aluminum wheels and was wondering if anyone could tell me if any 22.5 aluminum truck wheel will fit or if there is anything special that it needs to be from an mci? I do know they are a stud pilot or budd wheel but what about off sets or bolt patterns are all 10 lugs the same? Any help greatly appriciated. Billy

Billy first off you need to be sure it has long enough studs for aluminum wheels! (that is one of the most costly areas of changing the wheels)
No special off-sets needed. What size tire are you going to run? the 315/80R22.5's don't do well on a stock truck wheel, they need the wider motor coach wheels.
Where you located? Someone on the board maybe near you. It's always good  to find out who is near, as they usually know the inside scoop on who, where, when etc.

wheel simulators  ck them out   alum wheels will save you a couple hundred lbs on weight .  Again let us know where you are because shipping would be a major factor. Ck out spare parts on forum ;there were a set in Georgia for sale recently   Bob

Thanks for the replies. The ole bus currently has 315/80R22.5 on it in pretty decent shape. Just started thinkin about dollin her up a little bit. Looked into doing simulators but for the cost of them seems like it makes more sense to spend a little extra and just by the wheels? Thanks again Billy

Billy a great source of parts to you is Sam Caylor of Caylor Supply in Rantoul, KS 785-878-3405 he is the source for MCI anything! And not too far of a drive for you. not far fro US 59 & I-35 on the way to KC.
