Looks like I will need a new speedometer head, or maybe this one fixed.  It is an aftermarket  says  KK    model # 5401. With brief inspection I noticed there is no "pill box" as refered to in the service manual. Also the speedo is labeled 24Volt neg ground. Other than the light bulb there does not appear to be any power to the speedometer or magnetic pickup.

If you want to get it repaired, try these guys
http://www.carradio.com/

They told me around $200.00 to rebuild my Dodge truck speedo, haven't done it yet.

I don't know anything about them except the website.

Get yourself a copy of Hemmings Motor News.
Might be able to find a few peple or companys that will refurb, rebuid or sell speedometers.
Good luck with your repair.  8)

Jim,
What is the speedometer doing/not doing?  It might be a problem with the sender or sender adjustment.  I had to replace my sender several yeaqrs ago.  I got my replacement form Presicion Speed in Phoenix, AZ.  Jack
