I dont think we will get out for days >:(. I have a hill coming out of the drive. But I can get it repacked. :-\

Not looking good here in Chapel Hill either - 6 inches of snow, no chains, nothing moving on the roads, and even if the roads become clear (they are a big mess right now), not sure I could get the bus out to them. Predicted temps do not look good for melting in the next couple of days but I guess even if we were to get out of here by Wednesday morning we might not miss the whole Bussin 11 shebang, so will keep our fingers crossed and our shovels ready..

STILL SNOWING #?&#  >:( I need to get out here. We were in Ky for 8 weeks and 4 of them were in the ice or snow.

Oonrahnjay

This snow seems to have been in a pretty narrow band, southwest to northeast across Atlanta - Asheville & Charlotte - Greensboro & Durham & Raleigh - Norfolk & Richmond.  I'm visiting in Alexandria VA (DC area) and no snow here yet.  Fayetteville NC is showing snow and 32 degrees; Florence SC is snow and 34 degrees.  So, if you can get out to I-95 and get to the SC border, it looks OK.  Probably pretty hard travel but maybe OK.

Good luck!

Sounds like a good week to invest in Automatic chain and salt melt Companies.
Good Luck guys, we are hearing east coast is getting at least 1 foot today, so be careful.

Although it's only 16 degrees here in Nebraska we have missed all the snow so far this year. If it's any consolation I am having sympathy pains for you on the east coast and am limiting my outside excursions to looking out the window! I do need to measure something in the bus but just don't feel up to it!
Seven Heaven.... I pray a lot every time I head down the road!!

Well were here in Arcadia and the wind is cutting thru like a frozen knife. Its rocking my H model like a toy. Very cold for this time compared to other recent years. This compares to the early years of this rally when it was just as cold. I'm afraid the weather may keep alot of people away.

It's supposed to warm up considerably by Wednesday.  Should be very pleasant during the rally.

Although this may be true Sean, what about those of us that are here for the pre rally festivities? LOL Too cold even for your hot tub and too too windy!

But Ace, doesn't that mean if you were home it would be just as cold?
At least you have all those wonderful people around you!
We would be there had Payroll not fallen tomorrow for Dianne.  She has to be there to do it even if she is dead!
It is 29 degrees in Hickory, NC with at least 6 inches of snow on the ground!  Nope, I just read that it is 8 inches!
