I used a BF bar to get mine out. You will find that it comes up hard but will.

If I remember correctly, the diamond plate has a lip that extends under the plywood an inch or 2.  Jack

That is how I remember it I used the bar and didn't care about plywood as I removed it all anyhow.

Mark,
Set you saw for a depth of 5/8" and make a cut about 2" or 3" from the edge of the diamond plate. You have to replace that section of floor anyway.  Jack

Thanks to jack, a busted thumb screwdriver, hammer and a circular saw the diamond plate is now out of the bus. (thumb got whacked with the hammer) cutting 2 inches away from the plate and around it worked like a charm. that exposed 8 screws that i had to pull with the claw of the hammer and up the plate came. something else for the recycle yard i recon. i got .68 cents a pound for the lav stainless steel it totaled 106 lbs. not bad for something i had to remove anyway. so tomorrow i will perhaps start covering some of the holes that allow the cold air to come in. COLD AIR in FLORIDA hummmmm.

thanks

Mark if you dig the grout out around the plate there was two rivets on the side and two screws in the front lip on my MCI 102D3. Then the gorilla glue took two crow bars and 290lbs of weight on them. The screws also went through the plywood but I was taking all the plywood out anyway.
