I work with lawyers on a regular basis.  One of the questions they will most likely ask is " have you discussed this case with anyone else?"  That's going to put you in a very tight spot. jm

Unless you are getting a lot of money under the table I would run the other way. No matter what happens you will end up wondering why you did it.

Print this thread and show it to the law firm that wants to retain you as an expert witness.  If they still want your services after reading the information, make your decision based on what you want to do.  In the meantime, enjoy this short training video....

I agree... The only thing we know is that he has been asked to give his "Expert Opinion" on some accident somewhere on some date.. We don't know who it is...what happened...where it happened...or when, other than the year.  IMHO, I think he should follow his heart on this one as to wheather he should testify or not..
