Hello: I need to replace my wiper blades (sounds simple) and have run into confusion over the size (length and width) At present on my LeMirage XL-40, I have have 22" and the bridge rail is .625". Most of the web places that mention Prevost wipers show both 22" and 24" length Anco 57-12 or Autex ACS 22-12 or Sprauge 1147-2-22 or Prevost PN 800284. The problem is the width for the Anco refil is .500 which is too narrow. Seems everything I order has to be returned cause of the width. Have some of you LeMirage owners changed to a narrower more obtainable sized blade? Thanks  Gerry H

Gerry,
I tried a set of Anco blades that sort of fit the arms, I have now discarded them and did not keep the part number because I don't plan to use them again. Prevost has specials on them now and again the last one was about 30 dollars a pair, I think blade refills are available from Prevost. The things are a goofy size and I have had no luck attempting to find a good match.

I was under the impression that the OEM blades were mfg by Bosch and then dropped from production, hench the change to 24" Anco's but I could be mis-informed. Thanks for chiming in. Gerry H

I tried a lot of truck shops and auto parts stores, until I went to NAPA and walked out with them 5 minutes later. I hope you find them.    Good Busn'  Wilbur

Sometimes it's easier just to take the hit and replace the wiper arm at napa with one that you can get replacement blades for, our revcon had a wiper arm setup that had been discontinued back in the mid 80's so thats what I did to cure that problem and now I get a new set of blades pretty much every year, the replacement arms for that project were a total of about 60 bucks for the initial hit but knowing I can get refills helps and they are reasonable.
