Lol, doubt you can do it for $40k, much less $40...

A typical bus, even with the best aero mods, would take well over 1000 hp to reach 165 mph. It would take a marine Cat C15 with a radiator covering the entire roof to make that much power semi-reliably.

On the other hand, an aero bus like the Neoplan Starliner, with a 550hp ISX or DD15, can probably get you 120 mph. Finding tires that can do 120 mph @ 45,000 lbs, it's another story.
