I know Carl is still in business, is Foretravel still doing biz or has it gone under like so many of the others?  I shared your opinion on the bus meetings.  We won't be at Quartzite this year but will make an effort to swing by your place after we leave Vegas next September.

Sometimes I consider another coach, but then I get to thinking about the time, expense and effort put into mine, and I am quite satisfied.  A friend of mine claims it is necessary (in the male psyche) to trade 'em off every five years or so.  I believe at this stage of the game, I am sticking with what I have.  When I win the Lottery I will give Carl a shout and move into a Newell.

Don, Foretravel is doing good as is Newell both have backlogs talking with Greg Amys at Foretravel and Karl neither are happy with only one engine to offer as the ISX 650 hp is giving both a problem.
When you win the lotto buy 2 Newell's 1 for you and 1 for a friend and I will be glad to give the tool boxes for your new shop LOL

It hurts to lose an auction.  It's so difficult to be truly honest about your high bid.  I always use this rule...  I bid the amount that allows me to say that if it goes for a single dime more it's just too much and I will have no regrets.

Sorry but I disagree completely.  Over the years I've had way more regrets about something I brought home from an auction than I have had about the stuff I left behind.  If some fool wants to pay more than I do for some particular piece of equipment then that's his problem not mine.

Paying too much?  Who ever heard of such a thing.  You misunderstood me.  Paying too much is absolutely out of the question.  I'm talking about missing out on a killer deal by being too cheap by not being honest with yourself.  What you said is actually one of my axioms.  You will be more likely to regret a purchase than a missed purchase.

The ISX 650 is that the Volvo?  I have a friend running a Volvo in a truck (produce hauler) and it is down and in the shop 60 days a year minimum, he hates it.  I got close on the Lotto lastnight, I only missed by five numbers!

The ISX 650 is a good engine, I have put about 25,000 on one in a 45 ft coach and had no problems.  It drives like a sports car with all that power.
