Busnut needs help

    He will probably be pi$$ed at me but Oh Well. I talked to NCBob yesterday and he needs some help. He recently fell and broke 6 ribs. Due to the broken ribs, he cannot drive his bus and needs to get the bus (and him & Miss Jackie) from Franklin, NC to Fl.  If we can find 1 or more drivers to do this, that would be great. If several people could each drive a leg of the trip that would work also.  His bus is an MC5 with 4 speed manual transmission.  Jack

Well depending on when he wants to come down and IF I had a means of getting there without flying, I'd go get him, her and the bus! I don't have too much going on right now! I got a job next Thursday but that's it unless yhe phone rings!

For what its worth, it looks like I will be coming to Hickory from the Tampa area on Dec 18th if someone needs a ride back to the Carolinas while doing this.  (Will be in our pickup with one other passenger.)

Knowing Bob, he's probably coming back to Bushnell where he been staying the last few years!

Last time I asked, only the registered owner can drive my bus without a CDL and air endorsement. It would be a good idea to be sure so as not to jeopardize his insurance coverage during the trip. FWIW

anyone know when he wants to go?  i've got noon sunday until wed afternoons off right now.  Does he need to stay with dr up in nc, or can he get medical help in bushnell without screwing up the insurance.  

as far as driving insurancei think my bus insurance covers me driving anything.

That's going to be a long weekend of driving.  anyone know about the roads from Bob's to the Interstate, jake's on his bus, etc.  i haven't driven a stick for a while, either.

If he is a member of FMCA why not use one of his benefits from his membership they will send somebody to drive him

Jackie has my complete sympathy, I feel bad for bob too lol but I've broken ribs many times and I know how cranky I can get when I'm sore and I also know bob, he's cranky on a good day lol but now jackie can outrun him.

  I live about 50 miles south of Bob in Cornelia Ga. and own a MCI-5a so I am familiar with a bus like his. If I knew when Bob is leaving I may be able to drive the bus to Ruthi in Milledgeville. Just let me know if I can help, Glen Rice

Well I ain't sure how you could get to Tallahassee Ace, but M & D will be leaving there 7:00 AM Weds coming up here then going to Charleston, SC on Friday.
They'd be going right close to Bob on there way to SC! FWIW
