My Prevost has 24 volt marker, signal, and brake lights.  I have replaced the rear brake lights and turn signal lights with 7 inch round leds.  I cannot seem to find the side signal lights in 24 volt leds.  They are the kinda standard 6" X 2" with a 4 and thirteen sixteenths screw hole pattern.  Can anyone direct me to a site that might have them.

Thanks in advance

Chuck

Hi Chuck, where did you find the brake and signal led's? I found porch lights and 12&18 inch led replacements for the interior flourescents at www.starlights.com, but no luck on the others. I'll be watching this thread, hopefully their out there somewhere  ;D
Good luck, Will

Sean used some Truck-Lite 12 volt LED lights on his bus.  He used a resistor to drop the voltage.  I believe they are Model 21.  There are various part numbers depending on length of wiring harness and plug desired.

I want to put these on my bus, but they are not exactly inexpensive.  $69 each at NAPA and $63 another place.  My lights are already 12 volt.

Chuck, I didn't look for them but here is a link that looks like they carry anything LED. http://www.superbrightleds.com/

I just realized that Truck-Lite has several different styles of the model 21 light.  Some are strictly a clearance/marker light and others are a marker and turn signal combination.  Make sure you look at the right style.

Grote makes what you need.  http://grote.com/product.php?product_number=47353

Ryder Fleet Products has them for $9.30 each.

You'll also need a pigtail for them, 67070, for $3.14, and some female .180 bullet terminals to crimp on to your existing wires  (Ryder number V84 12267, about $13.00 for 25)  Then you'll need some 3/8" well nuts to replace the ones you'll undoubtedly break taking off the old lights (http://www.ribetproducts.com/product.php?productid=7537&cat=0&page=1), as well as some 8-32 stainless screws if yours are not long enough.

This worked on my 89 XL, you should take one apart and see if these parts look like they match up to what you have.  Mine has a ground screw to the body beneath the light, yours may be different, and require a different pigtail.

This should get you started - Steve
