Fellows,

Can someone direct me to where I might find a set of heated mirrors for my 1986 MCI 102?

Thanks,

Doug

Factory mirrors contact MCI, or Velvac or Ramco make many types of after market mirrors heated and motorized. Not cheap though. Try Ebay, there are many mirrors there but you may have to modify mounts to fit contour of the body etc.

Doug  I bought my Velvac's down at Northwest RV Supply in Eugene. Not cheap (but what is) but better than paying new price. Tried to call you last night but no answer (damn caller ID). lol         Good Busin" Wilbur

Doug, measure the mirror to see how many sq inches they are the  heated mirrors don't cost that much they get pricey when the remote feature is added just the heated heads are around 130 bucks ea for 90 sq inches. The draw back for the remote control mirrors is they vibrate where the manual don't I had Ramco remote and was never happy with the vibrating

good luck

Clifford,

Is heaters for the mirrors something a glass shop can add? Where would I look for this addition?

Usually on heated mirrors it is a small heat strip assembly attached to the back of the mirror glass. If the mirror breaks you have to change the whole mirror glass as the heat strip is attached and not removable. New mirror assemblies may have some thing different. The heat strip has to be either 12 or 24 volts. I bought some new Velvacs off of Ebay which are 12v so I will need to tap off of the bus 12 volts for power to the mirrors.
