With apologies to Willie, I am on the road again.

We are passing through Cheyenne, WY as I type which is about the half way point of getting there.  Bus is running great.  The longer trailer really doesn't pull any worse than a shorter trailer.  Not sure how it will affect MPG yet.

My fuel gauge works this time so I shouldn't run out of fuel this trip.

As a noob on here, I just want to say Congradulations. The people on this site are pretty awesome, giving you all the crap they gave you. my hat is off to EVERYONE. On the road again, what a feeling that must be, in a BUS.

We made it back home Tuesday evening.  No issues with the bus other than an issue with the front rooftop A/C unit not cooling well.

We did have a few adventures on the road though.  My friend was driving and hit a temporary fence in a Walmart with no damage to fence or bus.  Later on we lost an axle on the trailer I have documented in another thread.  The final issue was I apparently hit a traffic cone in Iowa.  The traffic cone tore off an outlet we installed on the outside and put a minor dent in the trailer.

All in all it was a great trip and we managed to launch a bunch of large rockets without crashing a single one.  First year we brought all the rockets home in one piece.  Weather was also excellent without any wind for three days for once.

We did miss out on one day in the desert as we didn't arrive until Thursday evening due to the trailer issues.  It didn't matter too much as the event doesn't officially start Friday morning anyhow.  We also got home 10 hours later than planned due to picking up the repaired trailer.  (Personally, I allow for 36 hours delay myself.  I go back to work Thursday.)
