Just foolin around on the net and found this one.  I also found that "short bus" is a derogatory phrase among our youth because the special needs and handicapped kids ride the "Short Bus"

My daughter always took the short bus to school (disabled since birth) and the kids at her school actually envied her and the other special needs kids because her bus was quiet and fun. The other big buses were noisy and roudy, and most kids didnt like that.

Ive thought of a kinda modified short bus as a car trailor/garage....... take out the engine and everything to make it as light as possible.....
