Reminder:Bus Rally, Oct 8-10, Carthage, MO

Just a friendly reminder than everyone planning on attending the Bus Rally in Carthage, MO, held the 2nd weekend in October each year, needs to go ahead and register with the RV Park soon.   Their website is: http://www.bigredbarnrvpark.com , and the phone # is (417) 358-2432.  Do tell them that you are with the Bus Rally. Carthage is just east of Joplin, MO, off I-44, and there is tons to do in the area.

We charge no rally fees, mostly because YOU DON"T GET ANYTHING FREE. . . no activities. . .no seminars. .no cute rally pins. . .  no, "I'm a bus rally nut" t-shirt. . . nada , but in order to make sure we have enough sites reserved, we'd like everyone to register with the campground as soon as they know they can make it, and then drop me a line at christy@hickshvac.com to also give me a heads up.  There is more information on the rally in the calendar, and you might pass the word to anyone who might not be on the various bus boards/forums.

What you do get is to sit around the campfire and swap lies . . . I mean, "stories" and meet other crazy, I mean, "great" bus nuts.
