I just got my MC-9 a few days ago and do not have a manual yet. I have an electrical question that I was hoping someone might could help me with until I get a manual. The question is.... Is there a 12V power source anywhere up around the drivers area that I can tap into?? I want to wire in my stereo and a power port for my GPS and cellphone charger.

Not the same Bus I have a 5Cs But I know on mine the ront headlights are 12 Volt and in the Driver side terminal panel from outside under the toll window there is terminal number 55 is for 12 volt. You might test it to get a reading to check the output. Or Sean might pipe in and give you specifics.

Look at the front electrical panel just under the drivers window. It seems like there are at least a few terminals that were 12 volt. Tap into one that doesn't have anything to do with safety features.

JLink,

The MC-9 Maintenance Manual can be found online here. It looks like Dave5Cs was right, stud 55 appears to be 12 volt (although it is only 10 amp and I would not place more on it than what you have listed in your post).

look on about pg 38 of the Electrical pdf Depewtee posted a link for.  I believe the buss bar on the left of the that junction box is 12V. Check it with voltmeter to be sure!!!!! It's been a while ???..  If you do use it make sure you have Equalizer (vanner type) for it that can handle new stereo amps.
It's all fun and games til someone gets hurt. ;)

Hi
The MC9 has some 12 volt pins in the front for a radio and CB and the radio to call back to the garage.
Just work over the terminal panel under the driver's window.
Good luck
